Kerry Clem is a seasoned biopharma executive with three decades of experience building and scaling commercial organizations across various disease states and markets. He has a proven track record of taking pre-commercial companies from zero to launch — establishing sales forces, market access strategies, and commercial infrastructure that consistently outperform expectations. Known for leveraging innovation and creativity to address complex market dynamics, Kerry transforms commercial challenges into sustainable growth.
Kerry has held C-suite and senior executive roles at both publicly traded and venture-backed start-ups. As CEO of Solaxa, he guided the company through critical early-stage inflection points, securing a transformative $95M+ partnership to support the Phase 3 program and commercialization of the company’s lead candidate. As CCO at Acorda Therapeutics, he carried full P&L responsibility across a multi-asset neurology portfolio, expanded products into international markets, and was instrumental in facilitating the $185M sale of the company’s assets. During his tenure, he revamped promotional strategies, expanded market access coverage, and implemented innovative prescribing and distribution platforms, driving sustained commercial performance.
Kerry served as VP of Sales at Allos Therapeutics, where he built the company’s inaugural sales force to support the successful launch of a first-in-class treatment for a rare T-cell lymphoma. Earlier in his career, he served as VP of Sales and Marketing at Solstice Neurosciences, where he successfully repositioned a botulinum toxin franchise, driving growth while reducing operational costs.
At WLH, Kerry brings this depth of hands-on execution, strategic leadership, and start-up commercial expertise to help emerging and growing biopharma companies build the organizations, capabilities, and culture they need to win in competitive markets.
Kerry received a B.S. in Criminology from Florida State University.
