Hi everyone, thanks so much for tuning into this week’s WLH podcast! This week, we are talking about change. As we begin the new year, WLH has been spending time reflecting on the tumultuous 2020 that we all experienced and the ways we have been forced to change how we go about business and life. Though the year was fraught with challenges of all kinds, we are thinking about all of the powerful lessons we’ve learned by adapting to the new normal. As we head into the first month of 2021, we want to spend the next five weeks teaching you what we have learned through our newest series, Change and Thrive: Igniting your Leadership Journey, so that you can all meet your goals and aspirations for the new year!

When it comes to large-scale change initiatives, companies have a significant challenge in beating the odds: 70% of all large-scale change initiatives fail. The problem lies in the fact that these initiatives lack (1) an effective implementation cascade, and (2) the leader’s ability to guide others through transition. As many of you plan on implementing large-scale changes in 2021 (or perhaps you are in the midst of a transition right now), you may be asking yourself: “how do I ensure that I am part of the 30% success club?” We want to help you with that goal by leading you through our unique model that approaches change on 3 levels –the organizational, team, and individual levels.

In this podcast, we will focus on the team level, and specifically our Jump Start approach. At WLH, we developed Team Jump Start to help leaders quickly address the many and varying challenges that come with leading a team through a transition. Recently, we worked with a pharmaceutical client who went through a commercial transformation this summer, resulting in an entirely new structure with many new leaders, with new or reconfigured teams. These leaders had the added challenge of getting their teams up and running virtually. This organization used our highly customizable Team Jump Start toolkit, along with our e-learning program to successfully launch their teams. In fact, there were 46 new teams that were jump started in a consistent manner over a month!

Join the other organizations that have used Jump Start to make their team transitions smoother and more effective and let us help you make the most of the opportunities of the new year together!
